1995 KELLY AIR

A piece of history, the Kelly Air is the board that pushed snowboard performance into big mountain territory.

“The scary tree artwork is by artist Douglas Smith, known for his scratchboard artwork where you create an image in reverse by removing the dark to reveal the light background.” - Lesley Betts

1987 ELITE

1987 was a monumental year; Guns n Roses released Appetite for Destruction, The Simpsons aired for the first time, and the Burton Elite Series launched.

Burton’s humble beginnings were all about progression taking surf to snow and inviting others to fall in love with standing sideways.

1996 DOLPHIN

Ride the board that inspired a whole generation of female riders.

The 1996 Dolphin was a clear line in snowboarding - it stands as THE first Women’s specific board and women’s pro model in our line (and like 2nd to market - previously Shannon Downing had a pro model on Sims in 1995). This is a commitment to women’s presence in our sport. It featured a softer flex/feel matched to a smaller female rider - but elevated the sport to the next level.

2011 NUG

Before shuffling board volume and shaping became the “it” thing, the Nug arrived on the scene, defying all the snowboarding norms of the time.

The Nug set new standards for a what a small board could do.
