All-mountain backcountry progression
This board performs on groomers, side hits, and in the park, floating through powder and chatter. It’s a true quiver killer for those who don’t want to compromise during their riding day.
DESIGNED FOR: Intermediate - Expert / All-Mountain, Freeride, Pow
SHAPE: Direction Twin
FLEX: 4/5 - Medium Stiff
BASE: Sintered
CAMBER PROFILE: Directional CamRock
BINDING MOUNT: 4x2 10-pack + SlamBack
FEATURES:
CamRock
CamRock is a profile that combines the best of both camber and rocker technologies. The shorter camber section underfoot provides stability and pop, while the rocker in the nose and tail elevates the tips, offering a more forgiving ride and improving float in powder. This design ensures versatility across various terrains. Depending on the specific rocker design, CamRock can be tailored to be directional, enhancing control in one direction, or a twin for a centered profile.
Dir. Twin
A directional twin snowboard combines the freestyle versatility of a twin shape with a slight directional emphasis. While featuring a symmetrical shape for switch riding, it incorporates a subtle directional aspect, such as a slightly longer nose or setback stance, enhancing performance in one primary direction. This design maintains a playful feel for freestyle manoeuvres while optimising stability and control, particularly in powder or variable conditions. Ideal for riders who enjoy the park but desire enhanced performance on groomers or in specific terrains, a directional twin provides a versatile compromise between freestyle agility and directional stability.
UnderBite
Better edge hold and easier turns. Redistributing rider weight and input power, UnderBite enhances turning ease and edge hold. By having the edge pulled in a couple of millimeters at the binding area acts like a gas pedal or a serrated knife, enhancing the cutting power of the edge. While you are turning on hard packed snow you need an insertion point to ease the edge. Then you need the edge to drive. We only have a couple inlays because once you’ve engaged your edge you are driving your turn. Under-Bite allows you to have that extra leverage to apply power to the edge where you want to. From nose to tail you have a better edge control and a smoother drive.
Torrent core: POPLAR / PAULOWNIA
Features 20% Poplar and 80% Paulownia. This mix is lighter than the 50/50 blend, with Poplar providing consistent flex and Paulownia ensuring significant weight reduction while maintaining strength. This composition offers a lightweight, agile, and durable snow-board, ideal for diverse riding styles and conditions.
Triax Glass
Triaxial or "Triax" fiberglass on a snowboard refers to a fiberglass construction where the fibers run in three directions— usually along the length of the board and at an angle. This configuration adds torsional stiffness to the board, enhancing its overall stability and responsiveness. Snowboards with triaxial fiberglass tend to have a more precise and controlled feel, making them suitable for riders who prioritize stability at higher speeds, improved edge hold, and better performance in challenging conditions. Triax fiber is often found in snowboards designed for advanced and aggressive riding styles.
Freestyle L Fiber Reinforcement
Introducing Freestyle L: Stringers of carbon mix fiber form straight lines from the insert pack to the nose and tail of the board, enhancing longitudinal stiffness. This design creates a stiffer nose and tail platform, ensuring exceptional stability during jump impulses and landings.
Sintered Base
Sintered bases are crafted by fusing tiny polyethylene particles under heat and pressure, creating a porous, durable surface. Known for superior speed and wax absorption, these bases are favoured by advanced riders for their high-performance capabilities in various snow conditions.
SlamBack Inserts
SlamBack is a versatile insert pattern with 5 rows of 2 inserts at 2cm from each other vertically and 4cm horizontally. With the addition of 2 inserts set 4cm back vertically. This industry standard pattern allows you to find the perfect stance you need. The SlamBack inserts are there for those unexpected powder days and allow you to slam your bindings back by 4cm and give you that directional feel and extra float to your board.
