DESCRIPTION

An All-Mountain board with a Freestyle personality.

The Drive is a newcomer to the YES line. It has your back when your charging, but it’s also a super fun board to cruise around your local resort on. The Drive is a modern take on a traditional classic. It has a Full Camber profile for unmatched response & pop, but still forgiving enough for an intermediate rider. It’s Mid Wide waist width provides great float in soft snow (and reduces toe / heal drag), and it’s Direction Twin shape gives you Freestyle versatility, as well as Freeride performance.

    FLEX: 7/10

    BASE: Sintered

    CAMBER PROFILE: High Camber

    BINDING MOUNT: 4x2 14-pack

    FEATURES:

    Directional Twin
A directional twin snowboard combines the freestyle versatility of a twin shape with a slight directional emphasis. While featuring a symmetrical shape for switch riding, it incorporates a subtle directional aspect, such as a slightly longer nose or setback stance, enhancing performance in one primary direction. This design maintains a playful feel for freestyle maneuvers while optimizing stability and control, particularly in powder or variable conditions. Ideal for riders who enjoy the park but desire enhanced performance on groomers or in specific terrains, a directional twin provides a versatile compromise between freestyle agility and directional stability.

    High Camber
The High Camber is engineered for maximum responsiveness, catering to the attacking rider who demands precision. This profile responds 1-to-1 to rider impulses, providing unmatched performance for those who need quick and exact response from their board. Ideal for advanced riders and those seeking high-speed control, the High Camber is all about precision and power, ensuring every move is executed with accuracy. (6-9mm)

Fluid core: POPLAR / PAULOWNIA (50%/50%)
The Fluid Core is made from 50% Poplar and Paulownia wood. Poplar gives it a consistent, energetic feel (flex and pop), and the lighter Paulownia keeps it strong while saving weight. This combination results in a responsive, light, and reliable ride that performs well in all conditions and for any rider.

    Multi-radius Sidecut
A Multi-radius sidecut on a snowboard features a blend of multiple radii from tip to tail, creating an elliptical shape. This design offers several performance benefits:

    • Consistency: Provides a uniform turning radius across the board’s length.
    • Versatility: Excels in various snow conditions.
    • Smoother Transitions: Ensures fluid transitions from edge to edge. Overall, the multi-radius sidecut contributes to a well-balanced, user-friendly snowboard design suitable for a wide range of riders and conditions.

    Triax Glass
Triaxial or “Triax” fiberglass on a snowboard refers to a fiberglass construction where the fibers run in three directions—usually along the length of the board and at an angle. This configuration adds torsional stiffness to the board, enhancing its overall stability and responsiveness. Snowboards with triaxial fiberglass tend to have a more precise and controlled feel, making them suitable for riders who prioritize stability at higher speeds, improved edge hold, and better performance in challenging conditions. Triax fiber is often found in snowboards designed for advanced and aggressive riding styles.

    Carbon 1 FS
Introducing Carbon 1 FS : Stringers of carbon fiber form straight lines from the insert pack to the nose and tail of the board, enhancing longitudinal stiffness. This design creates a stiffer nose and tail platform, ensuring exceptional stability during jump take offs and landings.
