DESCRIPTION

Ideal for park, pipe and all-mountain charging.

Simply put, this is a GREAT board. Often referred to as the best carving twin on the market, this Freestyle machine will shatter your expectations about how versatile a freestyle board can be. Featuring artwork from the most influential video parts of the YES founders (Romain DeMarchi, JP Solberg, DCP). Kids, know your history.

The (not so) secret ingredient to this highly sought after board is its Asymmetry. As a snowboarder, the mechanics of your toe side & heal side turns are different, so we designed a board that balanced out those differences. The result … a twin that excels in the park, loves ripping around the resort, grips VERY WELL on hard snow ... and also floats nicely when it finds powder (or slush). And with the upgraded carbon placement for this year, its the most responsive Greats we have ever made - and that’s a big statement!

    FEATURES:

    Asym Twin
An asym twin board is a uniquely designed board that enhances performance by addressing the natural differences in a rider’s heelside and toeside turns. While it maintains a true twin shape, meaning the nose and tail are identical in length and flex, it introduces asymmetry in the sidecut or flex pattern to improve control and balance. The heelside of the board typically has a deeper or tighter sidecut radius compared to the toeside, making heelside turns easier and more precise. This design creates a more natural and comfortable ride, allowing for better edge hold and smoother transitions between turns. By enhancing the dynamics of turning and carving, it provides a balanced, fluid experience on both edges, making it a versatile choice for riders who want a board that performs in all conditions.

    CamRock
CamRock is a profile that combines the best of both camber and rocker technologies. The camber section through the middle of the board provides stability and pop, while the rocker in the nose and tail elevates the tips, offering a more forgiving ride and improving float in powder. This design ensures versatility across various terrains. Depending on the specific rocker design, CamRock can be tailored to be directional, enhancing control in one direction, or a twin for a centered profile.

    Asym MidBite
Tighter turns and effortless heel edge. Asym MidBite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of a wider nose & tail. The design steps a single section of each sidecut inward between the insert packs. This single long disruption of the sidecut between the bindings creates a narrower waist width, providing quicker edge-to-edge response. The Heel edge side of the board has an even narrower radius than the toe edge. Providing the rider with a tighter turn requiring less power to engage. This balances out the energy needed to do a heel edge turn or a toe edge turn. Meanwhile, from your bindings out to the end of the sidecut we maintain a wider board width that improves float in pow and is a stable platform for popping, spinning, and landing on any snow type. An asymmetrical sidecut radius features different turning radii on the heel and toe edges. Benefits include:

    • Optimized Turn Initiation: Tailors to natural body mechanics for easier turn initiation.
    • Improved Edge Control: Enhances grip and responsiveness for confident carving.
    • Reduced Fatigue: Accommodates body mechanics, reducing effort and fatigue during turns. Overall, an asymmetrical sidecut optimizes turn initiation, edge control, and performance by acknowledging the biomechanical differences between heel-side and toe-side turns.

Torrent core: POPLAR / PAULOWNIA (20%/80%)
The Torrent core is made of from 80% Paulownia and 20% Poplar. The Paulownia ensures an extremely lightweight and durable ride, while the Poplar provides consistent flex and pop. This blend offers an agile, lightweight, and durable snowboard ideal for diverse conditions and riding styles.

    Biax Glass
Biaxial or “Biax” fiberglass consists of fibers running in two directions, typically along the length and width of the board. This construction provides a balanced flex pattern, making the snowboard more forgiving and easier to control. It enhances torsional flexibility, allowing for smoother turns and maneuvers, which is particularly beneficial for riders who prioritize a playful and versatile riding experience rather than aggressive performance.

    Carbon 2 FS
Introducing Carbon 2 FS : a stringer of biaxial aerospacial carbon fiber going in a straight line along the middle of the board from tip the insert packs, enhancing longitudinal stiffness. This design creates a stiffer flex for the board allowing the use of lighter wood to enhance lightness without loosing flex attributes. It ensures perfect control during take offs and landings.
